I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. I have footage I shot on a Panasonic HVx200 on a P2 card (72060p) and am trying to capture the footage into FCP. However, I plug my camera into my Mac pro and the P2 will not mount. I can see the HVX in the system profiler. I have installed the latest drivers from Panasonic but still no joy. So, I put the card in my AJ-PCS060 hard drive. I can get this to mount fine but Log and Capture will not recognize the drive and i cannot view my clips.
I'm using 16GB cards if this helps. I'm at my wits end. I've tried this on three different macs on both Tiger and Leopard and I still cannot get it to mount. Please help in anyway you can. Thanks Graham.
I have managed to get contents off of my Panasonic external drive but that is sporadic at best. Right now neither my camera or my hardrive storage unit will not work with Log and Transfer. I can at least see the drives mounted now but FCP Log and transfer just doesn't work. I just copied the files over to my desktop and used Premeire to access the files and that worked flawlessly so at least i can access my footage now but like all of us here, i'd rather work in FCP. I did a search on here and at the cow and it appears i'm not the only one with problems in this area. Apple Footer.
