I'm asking this question as I've spent the last day trying to find an answer on various support websites and communities. Please accept my apologies if the answer to my question already exists elsewhere and I either haven't found it or I have missed it. I have an Advent Vega tablet running Android 2.2 which I am trying to connect to my PC running Windows 8.1. When I connect via USB cable, my Vega says 'USB connected' and gives me a button to 'Turn on USB storage'. When I hit that, a broken circular icon appears which just keeps going round and round. My tablet is not showing in the Devices and Drivers section of 'This PC'.
There is no yellow triangle on any of the Mass Storage Devices shown in Device Manager and I have scanned these for Hardware Changes and updated Driver Software. I should add that I was able to connect this tablet to my old PC which ran Windows XP and was replaced just over a year ago. Any help would be much appreciated. Hi Sandy, Thank for your detailed response. I am sorry for the long delay, you need to uninstall the Vega as a Mass Storage Device and check. You also mentioned that there are 15 drivers reflecting on your computer. Which has to be updated.
There is possibility, your computer might affected by virus. I suggest you to scan your computer if you are running any anti-virus software on your computer and check.
